Village Office Filing Requirements 2022

VILLAGE OFFICE FILING REQUIREMENTS
 
A complete filing consists of the following:
 

• Affidavit of Identity – File with Village Clerk, and the Village Clerk will forward to the Township Clerk
• Village Non-Partisan Nominating Petition -File with Village Clerk, and the Village Clerk will forward to the Township Clerk
• Statement of Organization – File with County Clerk’s Office

   The Statement of Organization MUST be on File with the County Clerk.  Please Amend this form ONLY if your address or information has changed.  No need to refile this form if all information is the same.
 
Village Candidates are Without Party Affiliation:
 

• 6-20 Signatures on Petition forms to appear on the November 8, 2022 General Election ballot
• The Filing Deadline is on July 26, 2022 by 4:00 p.m. – Withdrawal deadline by 4:00 p.m. on July 29, 2022.
