​Attention Calumet Village Residents

October 22nd – 31st, 2022
Fall Cleanup in the Village of Calumet will begin on Saturday, October 22nd, and continue through Monday, October 31st. Place leaves and branches in the street at the curb for pickup. Leaves must be bagged or piled and covered to protect from the wind. Branches must be bundled together. Branches must be less than 4 feet in length and 3 inches in diameter. Items left after October 31st will not be picked up.

A Public Hearing will be held on Monday, November 7, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. by the Calumet Zoning Board of Appeals at the Village offices located at 340 6th Street, Calumet, Michigan to consider a variance request by MCP Properties, LLC to construct an accessory structure that exceeds the maximum ground area of 25% of the principal structure. The proposed structure would be located in back of the principal structure at 320 5th Street (PID#041-106-005-20) on Lot 132 of Assessor’s Plat of Blue Jacket Location (PID#041-420-132000). Written comments may be submitted to the Village of Calumet, 340 6th Street, Calumet, MI  49913 by 4:00 p.m., November 4, 2022.
