Current Ownership: Village of Calumet DDA
The Village of Calumet DDA is considering the sale of property described above. Potential purchasers may submit their proposals to the DDA for consideration. The goal of the DDA in a sale of the property is to see it redeveloped to better benefit the community and in such a fashion that is in compliance with all Village ordinances and codes (including those which address blight, dangerous buildings and similar problems. 
Potential purchasers must agree to demolish or rehabilitate the structures on this property within 365 days of purchase. Proposals are required to provide for payment of $1000 (in addition to a proposed purchase price) to be held in escrow until the property is brought in line with all Village Ordinances. If property is not brought into compliance within 365 days of purchase the escrow funds will be forfeited. 

Purchase of this property in no way exempts a purchaser from legal requirements to obtain permits for demolition or construction or other matters.
 

The DDA reserves the right to consider and accept alternative proposals if in its judgment it will produce a result equal to or better than that specified above.
