Public Works schedules Clean Up of yard waste a few weeks each fall. Dates are set each fall dependent on the season.

Snow Removal and Parking Restrictions
Winter is a long season in the Keweenaw and starts early. On street parking in prohibited from November - April to allow for snow removal.

Please be courteous and cautious around snow removal equipment! These large machines do have blind spots and our professional operators are working hard to keep roads safe for travel.

The Village of Calumet Department of Public Works is managed by Manager, Megan Haselden, and DPW Team Lead, Shane Karrio.

The Village Garage is home to the Department of Public Works and is located at 326 7th Street.
