The State of Michigan has made it a priority for local governments to better communicate information about their performance and finances to citizens. The Economic Vitality Incentive Program (EVIP), signed into law in May 2011 specifies that communities must have a Citizen's Guide and Performance Dashboard available to citizens by October 1, 2012 in order to qualify for EVIP revenue sharing dollars. These documents, as well as our current operating budget, are available below.

This dashboard is designed to provide you with easy-to-use, visual data regarding your municipality. It is important for citizens, businesses and officials to have access to information about their fiscal health.
The MI Community Financial Dashboard is provided by the Michigan Department of Treasury using data collected off the Annual Financial Report (F65) submitted by local units of government. The Village of Calumet has a very good debt health, rated in the 90th percentile for communities of the same type (19 of 182) in Michigan for 2016. |
Village of Calumet Interactive Financial Data Tool
The Interactive Financial Data Tool allows you to easily view all aspects of the Village's financial figures, research specific items and compare those results with previous year data or with data from other municipalities. Easy to understand graphs and charts instantly provide a clear understanding of the facts. This allows all members of the community to have immediate access to information regarding the economic health of their community. The Interactive Financial Data Tool is made available by the State of Michigan and the information is automatically updated by the Village of Calumet annually. |
