VILLAGE OF CALUMET PUBLIC NOTICE A public hearing on the FY 2023 proposed budget will be held at 6:30 PM on Monday, February 28, 2022, at the Calumet Village Hall, 340 Sixth Street, Calumet, Michigan 49913. A copy of the budget is available for public inspection at the Calumet Village Hall. The property tax millage rate proposed to be levied to support the proposed budget will be a subject of this hearing. Individuals can make public comments or submit written comments, in person, at the public hearing. Written comments may be submitted prior to the public hearing by mailing them to: Village of Calumet, 340 6th St, Calumet, MI 49913 or [email protected]. Written comments submitted prior to the public hearing will be received until 6:00pm Monday, February 28, 2022. Individuals planning to attend who require reasonable auxiliary aids should contact the Village Manager at (906) 337-1713. Notice: There will be a Special Meeting of the Village Council on Monday, February 28, 2022, immediately following the Public Hearing at 6:30pm for Budget FY2023, Amendment to Budget FY2022 and millage passage in the Village Hall Council Chambers. There will be a Regular Meeting of the Downtown Development Authority on Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at 1:00pm in the Village Hall Council Chambers. There will be a Committee Meeting of Village Council to discuss short term rentals on Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at 4pm in the Village Hall Council Chambers. There will be a Regular Meeting of the Planning Commission on Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at 5:30pm in the Village Hall Council Chambers.
