Request for Abandonment – Portion of 9th Street

Notice is hereby given that the Village of Calumet will hold a public hearing on October 21, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. to receive public input regarding a proposal to abandon a portion of 9th Street adjacent to the Calumet Train Depot.
This hearing is exploratory in nature, intended to gather initial feedback from residents, property owners, and other interested parties.
Description of Request & Affected Property
The abandonment request involves the portion of 9th Street adjoining the Calumet Train Depot property. The notice is intended to apply to all street addresses, parcels, and structures within or contiguous to the subject area.
