2. CONTACT THE HDC
The HDC coordinator will be happy to connect you with a member of the Commission who can review your project and help guide you through the application process.
3. COMPLETE THE CERTIFICATE FOR APPROPRIATENESS APPLICATION
Complete the application and submit to the HDC. Attendance at the next HDC Meeting held after your submission is recommended.
4. ONCE YOUR CERTIFICATE IS APPROVED, START WORK!

HISTORIC DISTRICT GUIDELINE
The purpose of the Historic District Design Guideline is to provide guidance to property owners undertaking work within the Civic and Commercial Historic District that is subject to review by the Commission. In addition, it is intended to assist the Historic District Commission in considering whether the proposed work is appropriate and maintains the historic character of the district. CERTIFICATE OF APPROPRIATENESS
Changes made to the exterior of buildings within the Historic District are subject to review by the Historic District Commission and require approval of a "Certificate of Appropriateness". |
